The hour of the Wolf — Money Is the Root

My dad used to call between 3 AM and 4 AM the hour of the Wolf. It is the time that you can’t sleep. Minute by minute your mind gets more and agitated you get stuck in a loop thinking about ridiculous things.
My son asked me in an email “If money is the root of all evil, why did they ask for it in church?”.

I thought it was a great question although it did rob me of a couple of hours sleep. It is the very reason that Henry VIII broke away from the Catholic Church. Not only did he want a divorce but he needed a big stack of cash.
So much for “the meek shall inherit the earth”.
So I have a question for you to consider: Does money bring out the worst in people?
